The Artistic Council composed of:

after listening to the 14 groups qualified for the XXIX edition of BIM, has decided to award the following SPECIAL AWARDS:
- Prize of the Marshal of Kujawsko – Pomorskie Voivodeship
GERMANY chamber orchestra, Radebeul, manager Ingmar Scheidig for an interesting performance of a work by Henryk Mikołaj Górecki.
- Prize of the Voivode of Kujawsko–Pomorskie Voivodeship
UKRAINE youth chamber choir “Vivat”, Odessa, manager Ludmiła Kusznieruk for interpretational values of the whole programee
- Prize of the President of the town of Bydgoszcz
POLAND folk band “Mały Haśnik”, Żabnica, manager Grażyna Feil for the ethnographic values of presenting the Żywiec folklore
- Prize of the Kujawsko – Pomorskie School Inspectorate
CZECH REPUBLIC folk band „Jarošáček”, manager Šarka Kuželová for an interesting presentation of the indigenous folklore
- Prize of the President of the town of Bydgoszcz
1. POLAND youth brass band „Vivat!”, Sieraków Wielkopolski, manager Robert
Morkis – for an interesting presentation of a parade drill
2. CHINA vocal instrumental band, Ningbo, manager Sun Fuchang – for promotion of
the artistic individualities
3. HUNGARY folk band „Gőrőmke”, Kalocsa, manager Katalin Horváth – for cultivating and stylish presentation of the Hungarian folklore
4. BULGARIA folk band „Bulgarche”, Veliko Tarnovo, manager Petar Petrov – for
vocal and instrumental values of the presentation
- Prize of the Principal of the Youth Centre “Pałac Młodzieży” in Bydgoszcz
5. POLAND Koszalin accordion quintet „Akord”, Koszalin, manager Artur Zajkowski – for interesting orchestrations
6. BELORUS drums band „Tamburin”,Brześć, manager Nikołaj Nieriezko – for the diversity of the programme
- Prize of the Parental Council of the Youth Centre “Pałac Młodzieży” in Bydgoszcz
SERBIA folk band, Belgrade, manager Bunčić Dejan – for the colour and expression of the programme
- Prize of The Association of Friends of Pałac Młodzieży in Bydgoszcz “PAŁAC”
TURKEY string quartet of the Ondokuz Mayis University, Samsun, manager Süleyman Tarman – for an interesting interpretation of the work by Evening Shadow
WEI HONG from China – the youngest artistic individuality of the XXIX BIM
