of the sitting of the artistic council of the XXXII Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions

The artistic council consisting of:
Adrianna Poniecka-Piekutowska – chairlady of the European Krzysztof Penderecki Music Centre, dr Ryszard Teperek - International Council of Organizations for Folklore Festivals and Folk Art - CIOFF,
Józef Eliasz – ELJAZZ Jazz Association,
after hearing of the 16 participating bands from 11 countries has decided to award the following main prizes:

• GRAND PRIX – the prize of the Minister of Education and
• of the European Krzysztof Penderecki Music Centre for
  NUS  CHINESE  ORCHESTRA from Singapore
  the manager: Cheung Hoi Yan, the conductor: Lum Yan Sing
  
  
• the prize of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage EX AEQUO for
  Municipal Chamber Music Orchestra ARCHETTI from Poland
  the artistic manager: Marzena Synowiec, the conductor: Maciej Koczur
  VICTORIA trio from Belarus
  the manager: Viktar Demianiuk

 Moreover, the artistic council has decided to award the following special prizes funded by:

• the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province Governor for
  Studio KOLKHA 2-Folk Group ODISHI from Georgia
  the managers: Emiri Nadereishvili, Darejan Tchania, Data Nadereischvili
• and for the soloists from the Organizers of the XXXII Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions –
  Ana Gelanidze, Lewani Jikia
  
  
• the President of Bydgoszcz, patron of honour of the XXXII Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions for
  STUDENT ART TROUPE from China
  the manager: Xiao Hong
  for the artistic show presented to the inhabitants of the settlement upon Brda
  
  
• the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province Marshal for
  the flute band BREVIS from Belarus
  the manager: Pavel and Tatiana Surahin
  
  
• the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province Marshal for
  the folklore band SEVDAH from Serbia

The XXXII Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions were a unique meeting of young artists who provided the distinguished listeners, through various forms of creative presentation, with unforgettable aesthetic experiences. The Artistic Council would like to express their sincere acknowledgements for the Youth Centre “Pałac Młodzieży” together with the whole personnel for their kindness, tolerance and organizational perfection.
